What we collect
When you create a volunteer account we collect your name, email, phone number and the details you choose to add (such as your address, languages, skills, availability and an emergency contact). We also record the shifts you sign up for and your attendance.
How we use it
Your information is used only to coordinate volunteering: matching you to opportunities, sending shift confirmations and reminders through the channels you choose, and keeping an emergency contact on file for safety. We never sell your data.
Who can see it
Only MADA coordinators and administrators can see your contact details, and only to run the programs you join. Your emergency contact is accessible to senior coordinators and only during an active incident.
Your choices
You can view and edit your information any time from your profile, adjust how we contact you, and request that your account be deleted. To make a request, contact us below.
